Nara Khamkhom Mr. Nara Khamkhom, Ph.D. Student of IPSR’s Doctoral Program in Demography has been granted a visiting scholar research award from the Mekong Region Development Research Group, Asia Center, University of Utah, for his project “Living and Health Conditions of Lao Migrant Workers in Thailand”. The host institution for his visiting scholar position is the University of Utah, USA, and he will conduct research for 5 months from March to July 2014 with Dr.Kim Korinek as his mentor.
Assoc. Dr.Churnrurtai Kanchanachitra

Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Churnrurtai Kanchanachitra for being granted the 2013 Best Teacher Award. She is one among the 10 outstanding woman teachers awarded this year. The Award is to praise Thai woman teachers with moral and qualifications according to Her Majesty the Queen's command on Thai Woman's Day on August 1, 2002. Dr. Tiam Chokwatana Foundation established the Award and this year's Award Ceremony was held by Dr. Tiam Chokwatana Khunnatham School Network on June 28, 2013, at Ballroom Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
