Youth aged 15-24 years comprise a large fragment of the total population in Thailand, and unsafe sexual behaviors are increasing among young people now a day. The objectives of the study are to explore condom use, barriers, facilitators and assess the risk perception for using condom in study population. The data employed in this study derived from the KDSS of Thailand 2000 and 2004. The study sample was mainly male aged 15-24 and both cross sectional and longitudinal analyses were done. The findings reveal that as the age progressed male are more reluctant to use condom. The first person with whom they used condoms was likely to be girl friend. Education is one of the key determinants and condom use increases with increasing education level. The odd ratio shows that drinking alcohol has lowered the chance of changing behavior to use condom on the other hand ‘perceive risk’ increases behavior change for condom use.
